DO PEOPLE LIKE THEIR FIRST NAMES?

Hi! I think this topic is very interesting, in my opinion Delana is a pretty name even though is unusual and I believe she shouldn’t be worried about it, also Dee sounds nice at least this is how I see it, what is more my name is Patricia but I like everyone call me Patty and I had never felt bad about my name, by the contrary I believe my parents chose the ideal name for me, although when I was in high school my classmates called me patty-pami, but I found it funny, really I don’t took it seriously, on the other hand I do agree with the proffesor Cleveland Kent Evans, since in the same way I think teenagers more than other people concern about their names, likewise they show concern about what other people think of them, in addition to I think that names describe us or in other words names has important meanings which talk about our personality and identify us within of the society also I think when you think about something of your life, the first thing you think of is your name.

For end I think you shouldn’t worry about your name, by the contrary you can find it funny.

NAMING TRADITIONS

I think this text is very interesting because we can know about different naming traditions used by people in some parts of the world, since for example American president Bill Clinton wasn’t well informed about how he should have referred to the Korean president’s wife, also by this reason American president made an error and koreans felt very offended, likewise I believe would be very important learn strategies or ways which help us to avoid this kind of confusions and I think the best way is ask which names a person would prefer to use and if we can’t say it very well, then we could ask the person to help us pronounce that name appropiately, since in this way people will get be in a good working environment, or in other words if people express correctly when they begin a conversation then people will have friendly relations with people from all over the world.
On the other hand in Mexico is different as well, since a woman marries keeps her maiden name, but also she adds the word “of” after of her husband’s name but is evident it cause some problems when someone go to United States and for example writes his/her name, because in that country people don’t have the same naming traditions than in Mexico, also I learned the number of names a person changes with the culture. But I think only should have one or two names.

HOW TO RELAX

Hello! How do you feel? Good or not so good, have you worked hard?, do you feel tired or worried about something? Do you have problems with your family? or with you work? Do you feel very stressed? You don’t worry feel stressed is normal, but I believe when you have a lot of stress is important that you learn how to deal with it, also I think sometimes you should visit a therapist, since they can help you feel a lot of better, but as I see it, the best way to overcome your problems is to find healthy and relaxing things that you like to do, for example you could listen to music, I think in this way you will feel more relaxed and easily you will forget your problems, also if you like dance, then you can practice with someone really it’s a great way to relax your body, also you could do yoga, since not only relaxes your body, but also it help you clear you mind, in the same way you can relax in bed, since when you to fall asleep for long hours your body to take a rest, what is more sleep gives your eyes.

On the other hand you can go swimming, since swimming is great exercise for reducing stress or you can take a warm bath, taking a walk, take a weekend vacation, be patient, don’t try to do more than one thing at a time.

For end I believe would be a good idea to put a little fun into your day.

EXPERIENCE IN HIGH SCHOOL

Hi! This beautiful day I’m going to write about when I was in high school, first of all I studied in a place known as San Gregorio, therefore I commuted to school in a green car which my father bought in order to my brothers and I could take classes in this school, we took half an hour to get home; also we took classes during all the day, since we started at seven o’clock and we left school at six o’clock, but the best of it is that we had a rest during two hours, what is more my friends and I had fantastic anecdotes for example: I remember when we bought junk food and after that we played hooky to a waterfall , in fact the cows chase us, since we crossed by a ranch, but the next day when we take classes teachers told off us, even so it didn’t have great importance , after all we had a great time.

On the other hand we used to play domino and sometimes we used to play volleyball, also in this school I learned how to cut into fillets of fish, in the same way we prepared ceviche, that’s all for today bye.

TAMPICO

Ok, today I’m going to write about Tampico.
Which idea in the text is the most general?.

A great winter vacation spot.
A fantastic place for families to visit with lots to do.
A convenient location for trips to the beach.
A city of historical interest.

Tampico is a terrific city! You can get a lot of fun since it has interesting places which you could visit, for example you can go to the Miramar beach. This beatiful beach is aproximately located an hour from Tampico’s historical downtown, also is a nice place for foreign tourists where you can know new people and make new friends, really you can have a great time, likewise you will enjoy a sunny day, what is more if you go with all your family and your friends, you will have the opportunity of realize incredible activities and coexist with them. At the end of the road you will enjoy a beautiful scenery as well as the entrance and departure of enormous ships.

On the other hand if you enjoy to be in contact with the nature you can visit the carpintero lagoon, also if you have children you will find a playgrounds where they easily will get entertainment, also you can go to the Plaza de armas, in this square you will be able to see squirrels climbing trees, too you will find the Liberty Square where you will see beautiful buildings, in addiction you can visit the house of the culture, it has several areas that frequently hold paint exhibitions, sculptures, and other cultural events of great interest, also you could visit The Flower’s Pyramid,The cathedral, The Chairel Lagoon among others.

I think my most positive quality is that I’m very supportive.
I’m the kind of person who likes to help to the people when they more need it, and I always try to give good advices to my friends, in this way they could make better decisions. For example last week my best friend was very worried because she had had some troubles with her family, then I said her that will take her time to think it over and after to talk with my friend she felts better.
On the other hand when I find people in the street very needy of money I give them some coins

I think that to help to the people is the most beautiful around the world.

My most negative quality is that I’m very shy, because I feel embarrased when I’m speaking in front of my classmates or large groups. For example I remember the last semester when I had an exposition about “The structure sentence”, I felt very nervous and embarrased, but the worst of all is that I felt too insecure.
Finally I believe that went a nasty experience, but I want to put it down to experience; I will never forget it because I would like to be more active.

MY FREE TIME

Hi! How are you today! I felt very tired but happy...Ok today I’m going to write more about me for that you know better about my life.
First of all my name is Patricia Pérez lorenzo,I’m twenty years old, I was born on May 31st , 1987 and I have two sisters and one brother, I live in Veracruz, in my free time I like listen to music because I felt more relaxed, also I forget my problems, I have always thought that music help me to feel a lot of better when I felt terribly sad or in other words when I’m feeling downhearted,what is more I study at the same time that I listen to music, in the same way when I go to parties and I danced with someone I feel very happy, on the other hand I love play volleyball with my friends on Sundays, usually we play about six o’clock in our yard, I practice this sport because I like to be helthy and it’s great exercise, also I like to go to the beach with my family since I enjoy be in contact with the nature, too I like ride a horse because I like to be outdoors.
My favorite food is the ceviche, also I like sing English song because it help me to improve my pronunciation...Ok that’s all bye.

When I read about this article I can see some important phrases and expressions, but first of all I’m going to explain what is home schooling.
Home Schooling is a method or style in which children, adolescents or people of all ages can study in house, that’s to say they don’t go to school.

GROWING TREND: It refers to how more and more.,people of all ages are choosing to study from home, since they see it as an option which facilitate their lifes, likewise they believe that will get a good education.

WHAT MAKES: Is a phrase in which this article to makes a difference between students who go to school and who study at home.

MORE IMPORTANTLY: This expression is used to give a lot of emphasis on self- taught person who have immense knowledges.

All THE TIME: This expression refers to how Janie always was learning a new thing at home.

MY TRAGEDY

When I was in high school, I had a terrible predicament: one day I got up and dress me very quickly because it was late to go to the school, then when I arrived to school my friends told me that I was wearing different socks' design but the same color. I felt so embarrased and they also laughed of me, I remember the only thing Iwould want was to go to my house and take the socks off me, and that anybody could look me or in other words I wished the earth would swallow me up! because I felt very bad about this experience, even I remember when I said to my friends "I can't believe it", oh really went a terrible experience, I will never forget it, but the best of it is that only my two friends Lety and Isidoro were who knew about it, because my classmates never knew a thing about my ashamed situation in which I found. since I always tried to hide me of the people, and when I arrived to my house I take the socks off me very quickly, in this way my cousin and my sister don't knew about it, because at that time I was living in Naranjos with them.

MY CHILHOOD.

Today, I'm going to write about my chilhood

I remember when I was a child I lived in my grandparents' house with my parents respectively, and my aunt and uncle was living next to the house of my grandparents, then I used to play hide and seek with my cousins and with my brother and sister, also we played with the ball almost everyday , but sometimes my grandfather was angry, because he didn't like that we were running in the courtyard, in the same way I remember that in Saint's day we used to adorn the altar with flowers, fruits, bread,sweets, etc.

After my family and I moved of house, here we lived with others cousins, with them I used to ride in bycicle, also my sister and I used to play with the dolls, generally on weekend my family and I visited to my grandparents, moreover I used to go to the kindergarden and to play with my classmates, in addition to I danced in the primary on course ends.
